Document workflow automation service
We simplified contract signing and financial settlements between clients and contractors
About the project
The client needed a tool to simplify interaction between clients and contractors. The core processes — signing contracts, payment and issuing receipts — were done manually or through different services, which added extra steps and increased the likelihood of errors.
Tech stack
Task
Create a service that combines document workflow and financial operations in one interface: signing contracts, accepting payment from the client and correct issuing of receipts by the contractor.
Constraints
Legally correct handling of contracts and financial operations. Integration with the Moy Nalog service via API imposed restrictions on data format and receipt generation processes.
Solution
We built a web service with a two-sided contract signing process: both parties agree on the terms and record the arrangements digitally. After signing, the client pays right in the service, and the contractor issues a receipt through the Moy Nalog integration — the data is transferred automatically via API. The full cycle from contract to closing the deal happens in one interface.
Challenges and how we solved them
We made the contract signing process step-by-step and recorded. The Moy Nalog integration was implemented through a separate layer that controls the correctness of data transfer. We added checks at every stage so user actions happen in the right order.
Further development
The architecture makes it possible to add new document types and contract templates without reworking the process, as well as analytics on deals and payments.
Result
We simplified the document workflow and reduced the number of manual operations. Users got a clear process for working with contracts and payments, as well as automatic receipt issuing through integration with the Russian Federal Tax Service.
